Dear SKAL Members and Your Contributors:
We would greatly appreciate a donation from you or your company to assist us in our annual fund raising efforts. Items donated for auction will help benefit our travel and tourism industry scholarship programs with Gwinnett Technical College, Georgia State University, and other local colleges, the Atlanta Food Bank, and other charities to which our organization contributes each year. Your contribution will provide your company with a terrific advertising opportunity in the Atlanta Community at large with over 100 travel agency owners and other travel professionals and their guests in attendance.
SKAL International is a non-profit organization founded in April 1955. The Atlanta Chapter is part of a world-wide association created in Europe as early as 1934. Our members consist of travel industry professionals, owners and managers of travel agencies, airlines, hotels, car rentals, official tourist organizations, travel press, and other recognized travel organizations, restaurants, and many other tourism-related companies. We will have well over 100 members and their guests attending this exciting event every year. Please accept this as your personal invitation to attend the event if you will be in the Atlanta area.
Please invite your friends, family, and colleagues for a great evening of fun. Attached is the Donation Form, which will also be available on our website at www.skalatlanta.org and a list of suggested items. This year we will be listing all of the items donated on the Atlanta SKAL website, so not only our members can see what's happening, but also our guests. Deadline for submitting completed forms is 15 April 2012.
Your donation will be listed in all of our publicity that reaches both our members, as well as, several hundred guests that are regular attendees at the Auction. All items will be listed in the Auction program advertising your Company/Name information and displayed at the Auction. When possible, please include brochures and all pertinent information along with certificates for donations. SKAL will send you the Tax Deduction Certificate for your records upon receiving your donation. We very much appreciate your donation and your support for the 2012 SKAL Atlanta Auction.
